As good stewards of our natural resources, Coastal Lumber Company’s facilities operate under “no-waste” principles – every bit of a tree that arrives at our facilities is used.
The bark becomes landscaping mulch, sawdust provides fuel to operate our kilns, and the cut-off edges and ends of the lumber become chips for paper manufacturing.
Because of our large production volume, our by-products are only available in tractor-trailer or railroad-car loads.
